MINUTES OF THE 2023 ANNUAL MEETING OF MEMBERS
TUESDAY, MARCH 21, 2023
The annual meeting of the members of the Briargrove Park Property Owners, Inc. was held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 7:00 pm on zoom.
Wendy Wall, Board President, called the meeting to order and introduced current Board members
Courtney Hencke, Vice President
Kaylan Caballero, 2nd Vice President
Chris Taylor, Treasurer
Susan Stanton, Secretary
Melissa Magee, Director
Charles Rogers, Director
John Stroehlein, Director
Eric Tonsul, Counsel for the Association, was present.
Stefany Taylor, Association Manager and Julie French, Assistant Manager were present.
Chief Client Officer, Erica Rocha was present. Erica gave the SEAL Report for the year.
Wendy introduced and thanked the chairs of each committee and the four subdivision organizations.
Architectural Control Committee – Mike Hessel
Citizens on Patrol – Tim Howard (absent)
Newsletter Editor – Atousa Maleki Nikirk (absent)
Playground Committee – Kaylan Caballero
Pool Committee – Danielle Flores & Kaylan Caballero
Tennis Committee – Melissa Marks
The Mothers’ Club – Lindsey Ellis & Erin Hyde, co-Presidents (absent)
The Women’s Club – Gena Blanchard
Swim Team Booster Club -Kimberly Barrett, Emily Burke, Vanessa Ellis (absent)
The Sportsmans Club – Daniel Ludwig (absent)
Kaylan gave the pool report and the playground report.
Melissa Marks gave the tennis report.
Gena Blanchard gave the report for the Women’s Club.
Mike Hessel gave the ACC report.
Wendy Wall said she would like to dispose of certain formalities. Stefany Taylor will serve as secretary of this meeting which will be governed by Roberts Rules of Order. The notice of this Annual Meeting of the Property owners of Briargrove Park was emailed to all property owners on February 26, 2023 in accordance with the Bylaws of the Association.
A quorum is present at this meeting.
Melissa Marks made a motion to approve the minutes of the 2022 Annual Board Meeting. Gena Blanchard seconded and the motion carried.
Kaylan Caballero and Wendy Wall ran unopposed and will remain on the Board for another three years.
Chris Taylor reviewed the 2022 budget. The 2023 budget is similar. The new clubhouse is still in the planning stage.
Melissa Magee made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Kaylan Caballero seconded and the motion carried.
